William Marasco Joins the L. Perkins Agency as a New Agent

Lori Perkins, founder and President of the L. Perkins Agency, a legacy literary agency with three decades of author representation, is pleased to announce that William Marasco has joined the agency as an agent specializing in fiction.

After completing a BFA in graphic arts, Marasco assisted veteran agents such a Charlotte Gusay, Vicky Weber, and Andie Smith with query evaluation, edit letters, building pitch decks and other hands on projects learning about the industry before getting picked up by L. Perkins Agency.

He is actively seeking Kidlit through YA projects (including graphic novels and author and illustrator clients), with a focus for LGBTQ+ stories, fantastical adventures with heart and hope, spicy and swoon worthy romance, and witty humor. He is equally open to the occasional 18+ queer story and nonfiction.

Though often open to giving any genre a chance, he keeps coming back to fiction to fuel his need for escapism. He is a fan of authors such as Claribel A. Ortega, Ryan La Sala, Kosoko Jackson, Vitor Martins, Gengoroh Tagame, Talia Hibbert, Mo Willems, and Cressida Cowell (to name a few!) As an avid annotation enthusiast, William is drawn to memorable imagination, exploration and quote worthy writing.
