Enter If You Dare: Riverdale Avenue Books Hosts Chilling Launch Party for The Lizzie Borden House Anthology at the Haunted House in Massachusetts

ree

Riverdale Avenue Books invites the brave, the curious, and lovers of all things macabre to an unforgettable afternoon of horror and history at the Lizzie Borden House Anthology launch party. The event takes place Sunday, November 9, from 2:00–4:00 PM at the historic Lizzie Borden House Bed & Breakfast, 230 2nd Street in Fall River, MA, the very site of the notorious 1892 axe murders that continue to haunt America’s imagination.

Guests will be treated to a reading by seven of the anthology’s contributing authors: Cheryl French, James Carr, Tony Genova, Janet Gershen-Siegel, Shannon Grant, David Jester, and local favorite Ricardo Rebelo

To heighten the eerie charm, guests can enjoy punch and pear-and-brie appetizers mingling with the authors.

Published in mid-October, The Lizzie Borden House Anthology is an officially licensed collection of original short fiction created in collaboration with the Lizzie Borden House itself. The anthology gathers more than 25 chilling stories that reimagine Lizzie’s legacy through lenses of historical fiction, true crime, speculative horror, and the paranormal. Contributors include New York Times bestseller Heather Graham, and Bram Stoker Award-winners Linda Addison and Edo Van Belkom, alongside a haunting lineup of emerging voices in dark fiction.

Each tale offers a new twist on the enduring mystery of Lizzie Borden—some terrifying, others unexpectedly empowering—but all unforgettable.

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign this past August marking the 133rd anniversary of the murders, Riverdale Avenue Books now invites readers to join this immersive event—where fact and fiction will blur inside the very walls where history was written in blood.

The Lizzie Borden House Anthology was released October 14 in ebook and trade paperback and is available wherever books are sold.
