With all the disheartening news at the moment (the reveal of the awful racism of the royal family, the one-year anniversary of COVID and quarantine), I find it’s sometimes nice to be distracted by almost meaningless trivia. In that vein, I offer you these statistics that came in to RDN this month.
Redbox, the online and supermarket kiosk movie rental company, surveyed their viewers last month and sent a list of the most beloved, or at least popular, soundtracks of movies. Gotta’ say, I kind of agree here (and it’s nice to see so many golden oldies!)

They followed this delightful bit of trivia up with a second fan-favorite question about favorite disaster movies. Here I was surprised that there wasn’t at least one virus/zombie movie (World War Z?), but perhaps that’s just too close to home at the moment.
