If you’re looking to get away from the crowd on the ground in Times Square and the same old boring view, now might be your chance to see the square from a different perspective.

For a limited time, tourists and New Yorkers alike can ascend 110 feet into the air of Times Square on a Ferris Wheel. Just opened today, the Ferris wheel is set up on Broadway at 48th street.

As current mayor Bill De Blasio mentions, the Ferris wheel is a chance to get the Times Square economy up and running again, giving people yet another thing to do in New York City.

And as we know, us New Yorkers have been very particular in getting the vaccine due to such a high population density which is exactly why the Ferris wheel is offering a free ride to those who have received their shots between August 1st and September 12th. Upon proof of vaccination, you get your free ride. But you have to hurry. Only 100 free rides are offered a day!

The Times Square Ferris Wheel will only be available until September 14th, so get your tickets soon!

You can find out more here, at the Times Square Wheel’s official site.
