Leap year comes once every four years, so it only makes sense that this should be another opportunity for sales.

A number of national restaurants are offering free and/or discounts for today only.  Wendy’s is offering a free Cinnabon pull-apart today only, while Red Lobster has a two lobster dinner for $29.99.  Krispy Kreme Donuts is offering a dozen donuts for $2.29, if you order a full price one as well.

One of my favorite quirky retailers, Sin n Linen (which has the most creative and outrageous sheets I’ve ever seen) is offering 29% off on many of their sheet sets.  Staples will give you  a passport photo for $.29 today.

Riverdaleavebooks.com is offering their entire catalog for 29% off with the code LEAPYEAR until midnight tonight.
