New York City’s royal entertainment couple – colloquially known as J-Rod – is no more. According to Page Six of The New York Post, singer/actor Jennifer Lopez (51) and former Yankee Alex Rodriguez (45) have split after four years of dating and a two-year engagement.
Though supposed “sources” say this was a long time in the making, the couple was last seen together at the end of February. Lopez is filming in the Dominican Republic and ARod is getting ready to start covering the 2021 baseball season in Florida.
At the end of last month there was a story circulating about Rodriguez cheating on Lopez with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, but she confessed that she has actually never met the sports’ star in person.
The couple has to postpone their June wedding plans due to COVID, after which J-Lo confessed that perhaps they wouldn’t marry at all, much like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell who have stayed together for 35 years without the legal bonds of matrimony.
