Introducing the Pepsi x Peeps Drink for Easter? And You Can’t Even Buy It in a Store

Since we’ve all be shut in for the past year, most of us were unfortunately aware of the Kraft magenta Mac and Cheese Valentine’s Day offering, where you had to enter your email address to win one of 1,000 boxes.

Well Pepsi has topped that with a #hashtag competition to win a three-pack of sweetly-flavored soda in three Peeps varieties. For those unaware, Peeps are brightly colored candy-coated marshmallows in the shape of baby birds, from where they got the name “peeps.” These flood the stores in spring as part of our nation’s annual Easter holiday celebration, along with chocolate bunnies and colored eggs.

Tagged PEPSI x PEEPS, the Peeps-inspired design on 7.5-ounce PEPSI mini-cans come in a three pack of bright yellow, pink and blue, although all are the same flavor which the Pepsi press release describes as “combines the crisp, refreshing taste of PEPSI cola with the pillowy-soft and sweet PEEPS® Marshmallow flavor.”

To get one of the 3,000 three-packs of this perfect springtime in pandemic drink, you can submit photos of yourself enjoying Peeps Marshmallow Chicks and Bunnies and tagging @PEPSI, #HangingWithMyPEEPS and #PepsiSweepstakes on Twitter and Instagram for your chance to win. So, just in case you didn’t get the kicker here, you have to buy some Peeps to enter this contest, which is open from now until March 31st.
