Our favorite science nerd quietly tied the knot with another science nerd about a month ago.
Nye, 66, married journalist Liza Mundy, 61, who he met after reading her book about the women code breakers of WWII, one of which was his own mom (so it obviously runs in that family, and from a matriarchal line!).
The pair married in May at the Haupt Gardens of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.
And if that wasn’t enough, the ceremony was performed by Star Trek: Voyager" actor Robert Picardo who, according to People Magazine, apparently uttered the words: 'Commitment : The Final Frontier.'"
