We all look back with fond memories at places like Fun Station and Chuck E. Cheese and wonder what it would be like to go to something like that as an adult. But now with millennials and Gen Z growing older, the wait is over.
In an entertainment complex in Thanet, Kent (the United Kingdom), there was a recently launched soft play night for adults, centered around 90’s jams and vodka slushies.
The idea came from the owners of the Centre, sisters Zahria and Parisa Tarjomani along with Matt Milchard, who are quite experienced with hosting events and activities for people of all ages.
“The idea is to give mums and dads a night away from the kids,” Zahra told Kent Online. “It’s something a bit different and we wanted to do something for parents after the last year.”
According to Totum, the night was such a popular success amongst those who attended that Under 1 Roof is already scheduling their next adult night Friday, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th in September between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale for 14.95 euros.
Of course, Under 1 Roof isn’t the only place to capitalize on the nostalgic fun of Fun Playgrounds. In a search to find Fun Playgrounds all around the world, I found an article dating back to 2020 in which places are hosting adult nights. Of course, some of the places may be outdated, or even closed after the pandemic, but you can probably use it to find adult nights regardless.
