Stacey Abrams’ Romantic Suspense Never Tell to Become a TV Series


Former Georgia Gubernatorial candidate and prominent voting-rights advocate Stacey Abrams has signed a deal to executive produce a television show at CBS based on her romance novel Never Tell which she wrote a under the pen name Selena Montgomery.


The romantic suspense series, set in New Orleans, features an expert linguistics professor with a complicated past who teams up with an investigative reporter to decipher a cryptic message which is the only clue in a missing persons case. This sets them up on a partnership working cases for the New Orleans police.


Stacy Abrams has published seven romance novels under her Selena Montgomery pen name. Never Tell was first published in 2004 by Saint Martin’s Press. Never Tell joins a drama development slate at CBS that includes author Michael Connelly’s The Lincoln Lawyer, which will be adapted by David E. Kelly.
