Today on, “What seems like Onion headline but is, in fact, NOT an Onion headline,” Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, was unmasked as one of the contestants on the hit show The Masked Singer.
Now, there’s no news yet on why they might have chosen Giuliani to be a contestant on the show, but, according to People magazine, when Giuliani was unmasked, two judges, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, walked off the stage in protest of the former mayor. The other two judges, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger, remained on stage to greet Giuliani.
It’s unclear if the episode might be pulled off the release schedule, or replaced with another episode entirely.
