Romance Cover Model Pleads Guilty to Cop Assault in Jan. 6 Capitol Attack

By Lori Perkins

No, not Fabio (he’s 63, BTW).

Forty-one year-old body builder and romance cover model Logan Barnhardt pleaded guilty to assaulting and dragging a Capitol police officer down steps. He will be sentenced in January.

When the judge asked him, “Are you pleading guilty because you are guilty?"

He answered, “Yes sir.”

The indictment alleged that Barnhardt assaulted a Metropolitan Police Department officer and engaged in felony civil disorder, as well as committed four misdemeanor offenses.

Not exactly heroic behavior, but I think losing his cover modeling gigs is probably the least of his concerns.

Barnhart appeared on the cover of romance novels like “Stepbrother UnSEALed: A Bad Boy Military Romance” and “Lighter,” a book with the slogan “wrong never felt so right.”

But he is not the only male model indicted for violence in the Jan. 6 Attack. John Strand, a 37 year-old underwear model, has been found guilty of felony obstruction of an official proceeding. He was at the Capitol that day “protecting” his 56 year-old girlfriend, right-wing anti-vax doctor and lawyer Dr. Simone Gold, who took a plea.
