For the second year after the pandemic, New York Comic Con is back at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City offering a plethora of merchandise, original art, interviews, signings and panels featuring writers and fans and actors such as Halloween’s Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Lloyd from the Back to the Future franchise and What We Do in the Shadows Harvey Guillen, among many others.
As usual, fans show up in homemade costumes to pose for pictures with their favorite actors, as well as selfies to show the folks back home. Fortunately, this year, the weather in NYC is unseasonably warm, so the more flesh-forward costumes won’t cause goosebumps.
As with last year, comic con is offering a 4-day virtual digital ticket where you can attend all panels and discussions online for a mere $29, and you can watch them for up to 30 days. This is my cup of tea (and I’ll probably watch sipping a cup of tea.) Here’s a link to purchase the virtual ticket, https://reedpop.chargebee.com/pages/v3/kcuRTdqsnfdID02tftn6yXWJWvl94hy7p/cart
