Female rapper Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband Offset this week after years of trying to make the marriage work.
The couple married almost three years ago and soon announced the forthcoming birth of their daughter Kulture, who was born in July of 2017. However the marriage was wrought with charges of infidelity on the part of Offset, as well as public displays of forgiveness and second chances.
In her divorce filing in Georgia on July 15th, according to TMZ, Cardi B said, “there are no prospects for reconciliation.”
Cardi B and Megan Stallion’s rap duo in praise of female anatomy, WAP, has been the #1 Billboard single for the past three weeks and is the first song in Billboard’s history by a female rapper entering the charts at #1.
