Just in time for Valentine’s Day, it was announced that the golden couple of New Jersey Senator Cory Booker and actress Rosario Dawson had ended their more than two-year relationship. I had been hoping for a big post-pandemic Hollywood/New Jersey wedding, but some dreams remain dreams.
The couple met at a political fundraiser and shared their story of Booker reading to Dawson (which I loved!!!!) and coupling up during lockdown. Dawson sold her California home and even moved to Newark. She was by his side during his presidential run and the Biden inauguration.
While neither party released a statement, a mutual friend confirmed to People magazine that they are no longer a couple, but that they remain “good friends.”
