I did not see this one coming, although as I read the news it appears they showed up for a glammed up appearance at the London premier of the Thor movie Love & Thunder.
So, the pair quietly got married in London this weekend, and it is reported that the singer will change her last name. I’m not sure if that will mean she is releasing her next album as Rita Waititi-Ora? Personally, I’d love to see Waititi change his name too, because I’m still a sucker for the Yoko Ono/John Lennon way of doing things.
The couple did not make an announcement, but Ora’s sister snapped a photo of Waititi wearing a wedding band (while drinking a glass of rose) which was posted on Instagram.
The ceremony was said to be “very intimate”, but we gather Ora’s sister was there.
The couple might throw a second grander wedding event later in the year.
