While almost every theater-goer in the tri-state area has received a postcard and seen the ads for James Bond’s Daniel Craig’s limited run performance of Macbeth, it was kept quite hushed that Baywatch’s legendary bombshell Pamela Anderson would also be heading to the Great White Way. Anderson took on the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, a perfect theatrical debut for the actress, starting on April 12th.
Anderson’s performance as the scandalous Hart in the Bob Fosse Broadway musical revival, which turns 25 this year, is also a limited run of eight weeks, ending on June 5th.
Her opening night performance was greeted with cheers. Her sons, Dylan Jagger Lee and Brandon Thomas Lee, were in the audience at the Ambassador Theatre.
