In unexpected but not unwelcomed news, Billie Lourd gave birth to her first born, a baby boy last Thursday.
The couple named their boy Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, named after Lourd’s late mother, the actress Carrie Fisher, who died in 2017 at the age of 60 after a heart attack.
The news came unexpectedly as neither Lourd nor her fiancé, Austen Rydell, had made any pregnancy announcements prior to Thursday, and still the couple received a slew of positive messages.
Mark Hamill, who played Fisher’s brother in the Star Wars saga, shared Lourd’s photo with a caption congratulating the couple. “I can’t think of another baby with both ‘KING’ and ‘LORD’ in their name,” the actor wrote.
