New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that he has interceded to allow New Yorkers to get married via chat or Zoom ceremonies, as the office issuing marriage certificates had been closed due to the coronavirus.
Almost minutes after that announcement was made, NY Times best-selling author Sarah Maclean informed the Twitterverse that she is authorized to officiate marriage ceremonies in New York State and offered her services in a charming tweet
It makes me wish that I was planning on getting married soon, but I am hoping that someone takes her up on the offer and we ALL get to watch the ceremony.
