Boston Man Proposes to Girlfriend with Altered Sleeping Beauty Movie Featuring Their Images

Man HACKS His Girlfriend's favorite Disney Movie With Marriage Proposal

Doctor Sthuthi David’s favorite movie is Disney’s Sleeping Beauty so when her boyfriend Lee Loechler told her that he had some tickets to a private screening in Boston she didn’t really think too much of it.

As she was watching the film, something was off. Instead of the blond beauty with the pale complexion, the sleeping beauty on the screen in front of her had dark black hair and a striking resemblance to her. This version of Prince Philip was going slightly bald so he didn’t have the customary blond locks either. The animated Prince tossed Loechler a ring, which he pretended to catch.

When she turned to Lee for an explanation, he was on bended knee in front of her with a ring in his hand. Doctor David was shocked, and was worried that they were interrupting the movies patrons’ viewing. That was when Lee told her their family and friends were in the audience.

Since Doctor David is cardiologist, when Lee proposed he told her that “I love you with my whole heart, including all of its ventricles, atriums, valves,”

Of course, she said yes!

Lee is filmmaker so he was able to hire an animator to hack the Disney classic. He rented out a local theater.

Said Loechler of his complicated proposal, “It’s not every day you get to propose to your high school sweetheart”

He did have an alternate ending in case she said no which featured Grumpy the Dwarf from Snow White weeping as Gary Jules’ “Mad World” played in the background.
