Chris Evans, the actor who plays Captain America, was trending on Saturday because he had mistakenly uploaded a nude photo of himself apparently featuring the family jewels on Instagram. To say Twitter was going crazy would be an understatement with more than 20,000 tweets about the black and white photo.
The “offending” image was quickly removed, but memes about the nude photos were shared all day. Many fans begged other fans not to repost the images, saying that is would damage the actor’s image in a role that was considered “family friendly.”
