I never played wedding with my Barbies when I was a kid (my Barbie was a spy torturing GI Joe), but if I did the possibility of two decked out brides would have entertained me for hours.

Well, during this time of endless lockdown, two little girls arranged an elaborate wedding for the Barbie dolls, and their special media savvy Mom, Danielle Shoffman, did a photoshoot which she shared with the world.

The girls created an entire wedding story with hair and make up prep shots, dress fittings and ev...

So, one of the things I do when I’m getting blue and frustrated due to the inertia that lockdown has placed upon us is find articles about interesting weddings, especially those that are taking place in this time of Coronavirus.

I thought I had hit a gold mine when I found the headline “The Indian Wedding that Stopped Traffic on Fifth Avenue” with the pull quote, “Hordes and hordes of tourists were elbowing our family out of the way to film Tyler on the horse.” As soon as I got to the article, and saw the 16 p...

No one can deny that we are living through turbulent times, so it is amazing and confounding to read about a couple who decided held their wedding in the midst of the current protests against the nation’s police brutality. They inspire me.

Dr. Kerry Anne and Michael Gordon had to postpone their May 26, 2020 New Jersey wedding due to COVID-19.  When they learned that The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia would loan their lawn to couples whose weddings had been postponed as well as frontline workers looking...

A British doctor and nurse who had canceled their wedding plans due to the coronavirus pandemic found a way to reschedule their wedding at the hospital where they work.

Jann Tipping, an ER nurse, and Annalan Navaratnam, an acute medical doctor, had planned to get married in August, but had canceled because they feared their family members wouldn’t be able to travel at that time. But the couple were able to have family members from Northern Ireland and Sri Lanka attend because they live-streamed their hospital we...

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that he has interceded to allow New Yorkers to get married via chat or Zoom ceremonies, as the office issuing marriage certificates had been closed due to the coronavirus.

Almost minutes after that announcement was made, NY Times best-selling author Sarah Maclean informed the Twitterverse that she is authorized to officiate marriage ceremonies in New York State and offered her services in a charming tweet

It makes me wish that I was planning on getting married soon, but I am hoping that someone takes h...

The daughter of beloved Australian zoologist Steve Irwin, nicknamed “The Crocodile Hunter” (who was killed by a sting ray in 2006) married in an intimate private ceremony in her grandparents’ private zoo in Queensland on March 23rd.  Despite the fact that she was only 7 when her father died, 21 year-old Bindi has followed in her father’s footsteps sharing his passion for animals and has become a wildlife expert.

The couple married in the gardens of Australia Zoo in Queensland, which was opened by her grandparents in the 1970s and is still ru...

We know that the stock market is crashing, and Japan has just about shut down, but other fall-out from the pandemic has resulted in chaos as Chinese products slow down and markets close.  Just think about how this global shut down has impacted the wedding industry.

According to a recent CNN business report, rock lobsters along the western Australian coast are waiting in their tanks for consumers, as their main market remains all but closed.

Since China is the leading supplier of wedding gowns, many brides throughout the world may find they c...

At sunrise on the last day of January Hailey Moore and Dr. Kristopher Hansen said  “I do” at the Mesa Arch trailhead inside Canyonlands National Park near Moab, Utah as a photographer couple officiated for them, and took their official wedding photos, which are spectacular.  There were no guests.

Jess and Austin Drawhorn, a married team of photographers who are based in Boulder, CO, specialize in what they call adventure elopements. Jess Drawhorn became an ordained minister online through...

It’s every person’s dream to have a fairytale wedding. An enchanting setting, a delicious cake, a gorgeous spouse, and, for the ladies (or men), a dress plucked from the imagination of a fairy godmother. That, or you want a wickedly ever after wedding with you as the evil queen. Unfortunately there are not dresses for that… yet. But, however fortunately, one bridal boutique has brought Disney fairy tales to life, with dresses inspired by Disney princesses.

Allure Bridals has teamed up with Disney for a collection they’re c...

Sheryl Sandberg, the Chief Operating officer of Facebook, and the author of the best-seller Lean In, is engaged to Tom Bernthal, the founder of Kelton Global, a Los Angeles-based global marketing research and brand consulting agency.  Of course, she announced her engagement on Facebook!

“Engaged!!! Tom Bernthal, you are my everything. I could not love you more,” Sandberg, 50, wrote on her Facebook post.

The couple were engaged after a mountain hike and picnic lunch at Vermejo Park Ranch, which is owned by Ted Turner in northeastern New Mexico...

Before they could even get around to filing a marriage license, Pam Anderson and new husband movie producer Jon Peters have called it quits. According to Anderson’s friends, even though the couple have known each other for three decades, and dated once before in the 90’s, things did not work out quite as well as they anticipated once they were living together, so they are NOT living together anymore.

In a statement she gave to The Hollywood Reporter, Anderson said, "I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be ver...

Rob Walkowiak, 52, and Nikki Bailey, 51, choose their wedding date a year ago partially based on their love of numerology – 02/02/2020 is a palindrome, a number that is the same both back and forth. They also happen to be huge Kansas City Chiefs football fans, but never imagined that a year later, on that day, they would be having the ultimate Super Bowl party in the form of their own Chiefs-themed wedding on the day the Chiefs would win their first Super Bowl in 50 years!

This is the second marriage for both, so they were a little more rela...

Emily Cloyd and Stacy, her wife

As much as we love to read the enemy-to-friends-to-eventually-lovers troupe, we don’t ever think it could happen in real life. But it does happen all the time, not just in romance novels, and not always in the romantic setting of say, something like a coffee AU. No, for Emily Therese Cloyd she met her life-long partner on Jeopardy! ten years ago.

After the release of a recent ABC’s News special featuring a long form interview with Alex Trebek, Cloyd took to Twitter to remind us that love can come from anywher...

While we were all glued to the tube (or the internet) with the Senate impeachment trial, Pamela Anderson, 52, married former hairstylist/director/producer Jon Peters, 74, who, it turns out, she had dated nearly 30 years ago when she was 19 and he was 41. They married in Malibu.

They both have had a long and colorful Hollywood past filled with celebrity romances (and a total of eight spouses between them).

Peters told the press that they first met at Hugh Heffner’s Playboy mansion in 1987 and that he has always been smitten with her.
